TCS were engaged by Sydney Metro’s Corporate Services team to undertake a review of several operational HR activities across Procurement, People and Culture, Information Management, Technology and Business Services functions.
Our core focus was to establish efficiencies, focusing on process improvement, review of their current operating model and a redesign of their organisational structure.
Our proposed end state functional model aimed to delineate the core accountabilities for each team, streamlines processes to remove duplication, and redesign roles that enable team members to be clear on their responsibilities and KPIs.
The new and existing roles were mapped to the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework to ensure a common understanding of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
